Customizable Common Parameters in the Acceptance Devices App

These are the common parameters that you can customize in the Acceptance Devices app when operating Semi-Integrated, Standalone, or Cloud mode:
Logo
Defines the logo that is shown on the home screen of the application. The default setting is
No logo

Operating mode – Choose one of these operating modes:
Semi-Integrated with Standalone:
Acceptance Devices app operates in Semi-Integrated and Standalone modes. This is the default setting.
Semi-Integrated:
Acceptance Devices app operates only in Semi-Integrated mode.
Standalone:
Acceptance Devices app operates only in Standalone mode.
Cloud with Standalone:
Acceptance Devices app operates in Cloud and Standalone modes.
Cloud:
Acceptance Devices app operates only in Cloud mode.
Automatic receipt printing
Enables the automatic printing of the merchant or customer receipt after each transaction. The default setting is
Disabled
.
Enable accessibility options
Enables the use of accessibility features during transaction processing. This feature supports visually impaired customers by using voice-over capabilities. The default setting is
True
.
Tipping type – Choose one of these tipping types:
Percentage choice:
Customer selects between three pre-defined tip percentages or enters a custom tip amount. The tipping values are set in the Tipping values parameter. This is the default setting.
Tip amount:
Customer enters a custom tip amount.
Total amount:
Customer enters the full amount, including the tip amount.
Tipping values
Defines the three tipping percentage choices that display on the terminal screen for the customer to choose. This parameter only applies if the Tipping Type parameter is set to Percentage choice. The default setting is
10, 15, 20
.
Tipping confirmation screen
Enables the display of an additional screen during a Sale with On-Reader Tipping transaction. The customer reviews and confirms that the tip amount before the payment is processed. The default setting is
False
.
MOTO CVV required
Enables Card Verification Value (CVV) as a required data input for mail order or telephone order (MOTO) transactions. The default setting is

MOTO address required
Enables the customer's address as a required data input for MOTO transactions. The default setting is
