REST API

Introduction to Acceptance Devices | PAX Semi-Integrated Solution

The PAX Semi-Integrated Solution enables partners to easily integrate their point-of-sale(POS) systems with supported PAX terminals in a semi-integrated manner. Leveraging the Acceptance Devices Android app and using simple API requests, your POS system can accept payments by communicating with the PAX terminal over a local Wi-Fi network or the cloud.

You can also operate the solution in Standalone mode, which enables you to start transactions directly from the PAX terminal. This mode does not require any integration to a point-of-sale (POS) system and is the quickest way to start accepting transactions. Standalone mode can also be used as a backup option, alongside the Semi-Integrated Solution, to accept transactions if your POS system is unavailable.
