REST API

Performing Offline Transactions

This section describes how to enable and disable Offline mode in the Acceptance Devices app. When internet connectivity is not available, you can use this mode to perform offline sale and refund transactions. When internet connectivity is available, you must submit the offline transactions batch for authorization.

WARNING

By using this feature, you assume the risk of the failed transactions, increased fraud, and increased chargebacks. Only perform offline transactions if required, such as when your internet connection is unavailable. The recommendation is to perform online sale transactions instead.
