REST API

Disabling Offline Mode for Offline Sale or Refund

This section describes how to disable Offline mode on the PAX terminal. When internet connectivity becomes available after performing offline transactions in Offline mode, the recommendation is to resume performing online transactions as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT

You must submit your offline transactions batch for authorization before switching back to Online mode. For more information, see Submitting an Offline Transactions Batch for Authorization.

Follow these steps to disable Offline mode on the PAX terminal:

On the PAX terminal, open the Acceptance Devices app.

Tap

Settings

.

Enter the passcode that you created when setting up the PAX terminal.

In the Settings menu, tap

Offline Mode

. The Offline Mode screen appears.

Toggle Enable Offline Mode to

OFF

. The device is now operating in Online mode.

Tap the Back navigation arrow to return to the home screen.

You can now resume performing online transactions on the terminal.
